The Sessions channel allows you to take control and put together your own selection of the best underground house music to create your own awesome set.

Sessions is where it all began. Ministry of Sound opened the doors to the worlds most famous nightclub in 1991 and a couple of years later released its first album “Sessions 1” album mixed by godfather of house and resident DJ Tony Humphries.

So began the genre defining series that took in such names as Paul Oakenfold, Clivilles and Cole, CJ Mackintosh, Masters at Work, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry and Eric Morillo. The series was a re-launched in 2005 with NastyDirtySexMusic, Derrick Carter, Steve Angello, DJ Sneak, Josh Wink, Mark Farina and Axwell.

In selecting the DJs for the Sessions series there has also been one mantra – quality house music that truly represents the essence of Ministry of Sound the club. It began with a love of house and now the Ministry of Sound download store takes that one step further.
