Sophisticated, influential, rich and tasteful Sugardaddy is your musical benefactor, offering an opportunity to live in the fast lane, to witness the sleazy underbelly of Viagra powered late nights, illicit trysts for expensive gifts. It isnt simply an old man on an ego trip, its about dirty, sexy music for living your life and Its Good To Get High With The Wife.

Behind the Oliver Goldsmith frames lies a throbbing mutant disco backbeat, where the sound of the urban 80s collides with the cultured cool of the 21st century. The heady mixture of savoir-faire and authority is hard to resist as Sugardaddy lays bare the exhilarating masterpiece that is their debut long player, Its Good To Get High With The Wife.

As the musical brainchild of Tom Findlay and Tim Hutton expect an album of great proportions. As one half of Groove Armada, one of the most successful dance acts of the past decade, Tom Findlay should need no introduction. Production partner, Tim Hutton is a musical prodigy and multi-instrumentalist, whose critically acclaimed solo output has led to his input on tracks by artists as diverse as, Afrika Bambaataa, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Cuban Brothers and Ian Brown, for whom he wrote hit single 'Time Is My Everything'.

Together the pair have forged an album that simultaneously harks back to the music that influenced their youth and looks forward to the liberal attitudes informing the modern clubber's collection. 'State Of Play' a digital P-Funking monster, reminiscent of Purple Rain era Prince, is an early signal of Sugardaddy's intent. The street soul of Hypnotize and the proto-acid house grooves of Hate, Love Passion further the urban futuristic vibe. The New Jersey R&B feel of 'Love On The Attack' and the head nodding house of Man Friday sampling 'Love Honey', which owes much to Larry Levan and the Paradise Garage, highlight the breadth and depth of Sugardaddy's musical reach.

Pristine production and bountiful bass lead the line on a cruise through electro, house and soul that pays as much attention to flawless song writing as it does to booty shaking rhythm. Vocal contributions from Tim Hutton, Plantlife's Jack Splash, the up and coming David Jordan and Cmone on the standout 'Upside Down Girl' all keep the action fresh and flowing, right through to the sleazy rock of final track 'Treat Me Like A Dog'.

Quite simply this release is all set to become one of the best dance albums of 2006.
