Pendulum have had their heads down recently, working hard on their new album ‘In Silico’ and refining their electronic rock sound. ‘Granite’ is their first single for new label Warner Music, and sees them moving further away from conventional dancefloor D&B, with its highly polished blend of rock guitars and filtered, full male vocals, along with trademark sounding synths and punishing beats. D&B heads will either love it or hate it, but this is certain to please Pendulum’s massive fanbase. With heavy support from Radio1 this is guaranteed to be huge. A tasty Dilinja remix rounds off an exciting release.
