This release is one of those tracks that demands your attention as soon as you listen to it as everything just seems to be in the right place but still sounds discernable from what else is about at the moment. ‘Nimbus’ is in a kind of epic hard trance vein which may sound rather odd but the mix of banging beats and acidic stabs with lush choral pads and haunting melodies seems to give it that real last tune of the night feel. ‘Tomahawk’ has a more progressive intro and still has some tough electro sounds thrown in for good measure, but in general it is the mellower of the two, which isn’t a problem as they are both superb.
