A few years ago Santos (being a very prolific producer) started his MASKIO off-spin in order to leave a window open on the acid-house scene and release timeless tech influenced music while he was deeply experimenting new shakadelic forms of breakbeats and modern discoid funk.

In 2007 some of his MASKIO output sounds like the freshest and most energetic club music around, more than minimal, fatter than techno and honestly 'Monday' really could be one of the underground tunes of summer 2007.

Mantra have finally decided to put together all his productions in a Retrospective album, to showcase this considerable talent, and we love it. Give it a listen, we're pretty sure you will too.
