Sweden’s young Joni Ljunqvist had a helluva 2005, and 'Nella' is another outstanding example of why he has caught both label and pundit’s ear of late. Joni’s own JPL remix takes things from the province of Markus Schulz to a (relatively speaking) more peak-time play. The smoothly vocoded vocals and more overtly melodic feel both sit well with the original’s sounds, and Ljungqvist’s assured touch scores again.
