On May 29th 2006, marking the tenth anniversary of the original Red Snapper release on Telica Records, the animal returns, breathing new life into the legend…and this time, with even more bite! Already established as two of the rising stars from the current crop of young hard dance producers and DJ’s with releases on Tidy Trax and their own Housewives Choice label imprint, Leeds (UK) based DJ and production team John Loxley and Leigh Green were, in the beginning considered to be the ‘wildcard’ inclusion to the 2006 Red Snapper remix package! The story began for the boys when they took it upon themselves to remix, in secret, the K90 classic and then send it Recover Records head honcho Chris Hampshire! Chris was suitably impressed with the quality and maturity of the mix which is aimed at the tougher end of the hard dance spectrum and felt it worthy of a play to Mark. Two days later, the track was signed cementing it’s inclusion in the final line up!
