Following on from previous Sci-Fi Hi-Fi instalments from Ewan Pearson, Luciano and Alex Smoke, Funk D'Void's Lars Sandberg takes up the challenge of producing this latest mix in the ongoing Soma series.

The set starts out strongly with a lengthy meeting of Itamar Sagi's 'Black Gold' and Beroshima's 'Horizon', blending the two seamlessly over the course of several minutes. The deep interweaving of silky smooth transitions that characterises this mix is a suitable reflection of the sort of selections that crop up here, ranging from the melodic Detroit sounds of Quince to the sheen of '80s-influenced electro from Vector Lovers.
