Opening Mix One with the sweet tones and spacey electronica of Dr Who’s “Come Together” feat Robert Owens, we then move into the haunting chords of Will Saul’s “Pause”. This slow burning deep house groove builds to a euphoric peak that is as much for the head as it is for the feet.
Man of the moment Glen Nichol’s (aka Future Funk Squad) is also present and correct in the form of the insanely fat “Audio Damage”, coming strong this time with a delightful rerub by D Ramirez. Andy Caldwell also drops his own track, “Warrior” – an object lesson in the uplifting, healing power of sweet house music.
