He has composed music for films such as Forces of Nature and Skulls, as well as popular television series - Six Feet Under, Boston Public, and Chromium Blue.

It would be an understatement to say Charl Chaka wears the proverbial crown in Dubai, when it comes to the deep/funk/jackin’ side of house. He has been credited as the 1st DJ to play the infamous San Francisco house sound in Dubai, and is renowned for championing the style in the desert heat. Opening sets for legends such as DJ Sneak, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Farina and Derrick Carter, to name but a few, and using his versatile style to open for Questlove and Jamiroquai, if ever a deep house jock is required in Dubai, Chaka’s the man called upon for the job.
