Launched in Jan 2004 by Hatch, Steelzawheelz and Sam Hill, West Recirds has certainly hit the ground running. Purveyors of all things Breakbeat and Funky. West have been picked up on by all the big name DJ’s in the breaks scene, with remixes from the likes of Klaus Heavyweight Hill, Splitloop, Madox, Slyde and Baobinga and more in the pipeline. The start of 2005 saw the fresh new label voted as best breakthrough label at Breakspoll 2004/2005
