UNO Recordings is a new venture from renowned San Fran based DJ and producer Andy Caldwell and Inspirit Music. It is quite simply a record label dedicated to releasing quality music featuring strong song writing and vocal performance. The focus is simple, yet solid, embracing edgy, innovative, instrumental music with lyrically strong, soulful songs. UNO encompasses the whole of electronic dance music and extracts it�s most redeeming and memorable qualities. �Rewind six months and we�re back at the Miami Winter Conference. After much blagging, pleading and a top-up card�s worth of mobile calls to the right people, we�re finally inside the incredibly popular UNO/Inspirit room of the Music2 party, which is being gently rocked by Andy Caldwell. It�s deep house wonderland from one of the most musical producers around � plenty of vocals, lush keys and warm washes � but then things start to change.
