Tommy Musto’s classic Northcott distributed label is brought back to life courtesy of the Defected Records (ITH) stable. Hailed by many as one of the best & most consistent American garage & vocal house labels of all time, it brings with it an unmistakeable musical legacy that shaped the New York house scene throughout the 90’s.

Founded originally by Silvio Tancredi and Tommy Musto in 1987, Sub Urban became a benchmark of quality for vinyl addicts everywhere releasing full vocal, soulful house cuts. Going forward the label will continue to adhere to its original musical ethos but with a new roster of artists which include DJ Fudge, Restless Soul, Monkey Brothers feat Shaun Escoffery and Roy Davis Jnr.
