The idea - to spot young, raw and untapped talent and put them altogether in a seamlessly mixed CD. This idea was then extended with a series of limited edition vinyl 12"s identifiable only by catalogue number. Fans hoping to find out who's who and what's what would have to buy the CD. As for fulfilling it's purpose of acting as a show-reel for the artists involved, the concept has already produced some exciting results with original signing Chris Salt now signed for a full recording deal with Silver Planet, and Narcos & Orchid's forthcoming material being snapped up by Hope Recordings.

The sound of Secret Planet is certainly distinct from that of Silver Planet. Whilst its first project had elements of Silver Planet
