Raw Fusion Recordings is the beginning of a new era in the life of Sweden's most successful club. It's also another proof of DJ, and now label boss, Mad Mats musical mastermind.

Raw Fusion is, as the name suggests, all about love for raw and diverse music no matter what genre as long as it's funky. This has been proved for eight years now by the regular club Fusion, the Fusion festivals, the Fusion Soul Classics Compilation and now also through by the Raw Fusion record label.

Fusion started out as a monthly club back in 1996. On the last Wednesday every month, Swedish club kids got together and danced to the vibrant outcomes of the Afro-American rhythm heritage: house, jazz, drum'n'bass, hip hop, soul, funk, latin, techno and everything in between. Promoters and DJs Mad Mats and Claes Bod'n provided Stockholm with the best sounds around. With the club running steady since the start, including two Fusion festivals, many big names have been put on the tasteful flyers: Joe Claussell, A Tribe Called Quest, Snowboy, Gil Scott-Heron, Theo Parrish, King Britt, UFO, Laurent Garnier, Gilles Peterson, The Roots, Jazzanova, Marcus Intalex, Louie Vega, Attica Blues, Koop and many others.
