Peng was created in February of 1999 by Andy Compton and Tweek, whose aim was to produce their own brand of jazzy, funky deep house through their own label.

They are a South West based collective in the United Kingdom and since their humble beginnings the label has gone from strength to strength and has now produced over 30 quality releases.
