Set up at the beginning of 2001, Maelstrom functions as a label focusing on artists and tracks from the techier end of trance and house from the international dance community.

Two years on, the label has gone from strength to strength as Maelstrom has clearly made it's mark on the UK dance scene, with quality releases from international talent such as Alex Flatner, Chris Lake, Fred Numf, DJ Montana, Groove Cyclone and the mighty Oliver Klein. In the last year alone we have had eight releases, including the massive Dogzilla 'Dogzilla' and the huge club hit Massive Lust 'Never'.

Maelstrom has fast become a label that is recognised as equally for its' quality releases as it is for its' willingness to 'go out on a limb' and promote new talent & sounds within the UK.
