Gung-Ho! Recordings is the creation of ex-Underwater Records label manager, Matt Stuart.

Matt had this to say about the very first release: "It's so important for the first release on a new label to be able to stand up on its own. Rather than going for a big remix I thought this tune did exactly that. It's an absolute pleasure to release a record from a new developing talent that knows what a decent dance tune is, and it's an even bigger pleasure for this to be the first one on Gung-Ho! L.E.O is a long-term project for Rob, and I hope to continue releasing his material under that guise. If others believe in this as much as I do he's gonna just keep getting bigger and better rocking everywhere with his solid production. Hope you like!"

That was then, and Gung-Ho! has since grown into a full-fledged label, with tracks from the likes of Gus Gus, Greg Churchill, and Lil Devious, making it a stalwart in the dance music scene.
