Giant Wheel is a truly international dance label, a collaboration of Clemens Neufeld, A&R and main producer, residing in Vienna, Austria, and Jan Langer, experienced label manager from Bremen, Germany. Founded in 2000, Giant Wheel is dedicated to release techno/house club music with a twist. The musical concept is fully functional: Music to make you smile!

Giant Wheel tries to go back to a naive, childish approach to club music as it used to be in the early days.

Jan Langer was already running Spiel-Zeug and Confused records with Bremens superstar DJs Thomas Schumacher and Oliver Huntemann, when he first contacted Clemens Neufeld in 1996 to license a track from his highly acclaimed FON records series.

More than a decade of intensive club life as a DJ and producer made Neufeld want to create a new platform for uplifting, fresh dance music beyond stylistic boundaries, a lighthouse of positive energy in today’s all too serious electronic music scene. After years of close cooperation with Jan Langer, Neufeld asked him to become manager for his new record label.

Giant Wheel, by the way, was Neufelds pseudonym for his Strictly Rhythm releases and is definitely a reference to his beloved hometown Vienna...
