Euphonic was founded by producers Ralph Kyau & Steven Moebius Albert in Spring 1997 and came out of the vinyl label Harmony Recordings which was founded in 1994. Euphonic's headquarters are situated in an East German town called Loebau.
From the beginning Ralph and Moebius were looking for some new and creative producers beside their own projects (Kyau vs. Albert, Moebius AG, Dope The Globe & Black Emanuelle). With Rough Mullar a.k.a. Sonorous, Ronski Speed, Shandy and Mirco de Govia (former releases on Harmony Recordings) and later the Flamingo Brothers, Marc Marberg and Ironbase they found some promising acts for their label.
Working with different partners worldwide (i.e. Discomania, Warner, Anjunabeats, ATCR, Sony, Lost Language) Euphonic defines itself as an artist label that stands for high quality dance music (trance, progressive house & ambient). The professionalism of the label showsthrough in the strength and communication that exists between all of the artists on the label, and with this strong label platform, it gives Euphonic the opportunity to delve into a variety of very interesting and creative directions.
