Duffnote Recordings was set up 2002 by Danny Jones and Richard Earnshaw (aka One51). The label has gone from strength to strength resulting in 2 further additions, One51 Recordings (Afro/Latin fused house) and more recently, Guess Records (Guess is the deeper sister label).

The 3 labels cover various areas of the dance music scene, but still retain a standard set by the collective experience and years of production and writing from within the company. The journey so far has seen a healthy bout of licensing to some of the industries most respected labels & compilations from all over the globe, collaborations with writers known and unknown, production opportunities that span across the whole music scene and of course the fantastic artists whom have worked with the label(s) including; Diane Charlemagne, Orlando Vaughan, Imogen Ryall, Bobby Wellins, Christian Alvarez, The Groove Junkies, Grant Nelson, Brian Tappert, Heidi Vogel, Lucie Cunningham, ElektroOrganic, Stereo Mutants, K-bana, Ed Funk, Spiritchaser, Simon Green, Danny Clarke, Mini Coola & lots more!
