Basement Records is one of the big three hardcore labels (Basement, Suburban Bass, Moving Shadow) that brought Drum and Bass to the mass market. The list of artists that owe their careers to this label is massive and includes Mayhem, Wax Doctor, Alex Reece, Photek & Peshay. Their biggest release was undoubtedly Top Buzz’s 'Living In Darkness', but if you ask anyone who remembers buying back then, every release was huge.
